This morning, as I was driving to work, I realized I had not actually heard the Star Spangled Banner in quite some time. This did not feel right to me, so I put it on. Next thing I knew, I was fighting back tears. I was thinking about life before this “woke” movement and the silencing of Americans that do not conform with new age thinking. When I think about this it normally just pisses me off, but this morning I felt sorrow. I know I’m not alone in this way of feeling. At some point, the dam is gonna break. I hope and pray the American people wake up and deny this “cancel culture”. It Is an absolute cancer to our constitutional rights, no matter where you stand on the political compass. Or who you are ethnically. Anyway, I felt like ranting. God bless America and God bless the 10 percenters.
Regularly play Jimi Hendrix’s version of The Star Spangled Banner every morning; it’s what got me through the Obama years.
And if you CLOSELY LISTEN to Hendrix’s guitar work on this instrumental ( circa 1969, as Woodstock was ending ), he really does capture the history happening right now in America; kinda like seeing a snapshot into Joe Biden’s eroding mind.
But in the end of the musical masterpiece, The Star Spangled Banner ALWAYS reminds us that no matter what, AMERICA WILL PREVAIL–our country’s TRUE PATRIOTS must put up the tireless fight to defeat the Socialists.
I feel the same way about the pledge of allegiance. I repeat it to myself every once in a while to remind myself about the time when believing in this country was common, and you didn’t have woke idiots kicking dirt on it and spitting at the mention of THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! God bless the U.S.A.
