A drug addicted homeless man walks up to 2 different car windows and asks for money to “buy a sandwich”.
The Liberal driver gives the homeless man money. Which the homeless man uses to buy drugs, thus staying homeless. Then the liberal goes home and blames the right for not giving him money also.
The Conservative driver gives the man a sandwich. He then gets the sandwich thrown at his car; but he goes home fulfilled knowing that he gave him the opportunity to better his life. He blames the left for feeding his excuse instead of his need.
Our government needs to understand that throwing money at a problem is not always the solution. There are some people out there that will NEVER try to better their lives and will blame you for not feeding into their victimhood; and over a long period of time, throwing money at the problem costs WAY MORE than paying for the solution. We don’t need handouts, we need opportunities. There is nothing “moral” about enabling people that do not want to help themselves.
