I like you people so I’m going to share these with you. This one is my hubby’s creation and it is delicious. Saute the trinity and some garlic with a splash of lemon juice, add your favorite seafood or a mix of them (I prefer crabmeat) and some parmesan or asiago. Roll up about a heaping tablespoon in the center of an unbaked refrigerated croissant. Bake according to dough directions and enjoy.
This one is my creation. Pound out a chicken breast or thigh. Put any cheese you like in the center and roll it up. (You can also add veggies or do no cheese and all veggies.) I like gouda. Then wrap the chicken with a couple of slices of bacon. Drizzle some Steen’s cane syrup on top and put fresh cracked black pepper on top of that. Bake about 30 minutes at 375 and enjoy. Oven times may vary and you don’t want to over cook it.
With these as with all recipes, go ahead and add whatever seasoning you like. I’m a freak for habanero powder. On chicken thyme is nice as well as oregano.
